ABOUT BOB GASS
Bob Gass was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland
on January 15, 1944. At 12, he committed his life
to Christ and at 13 he preached his first sermon.
Five years later he came to America and was ordained
into the ministry. After years spent speaking
in churches of all denominations throughout North
America, he moved to the northeast where he built
and pastored one of the largest churches in New
England.
In 1981 he moved to Atlanta, GA and became a
familiar face through his daily television show,
The Breakfast Club. After five successful years
in broadcasting, Bob became involved with United
Christian Broadcasters, a missions group that
builds Christian radio and television stations
in countries that have none. To date, he has helped
them build over 300 stations in four continents.
In 1994, Bob wrote the first edition of The
Word For You Today, a daily devotional. Now,
over two million copies are published each quarter
in 17 languages. Today, it is the fastest growing
devotional of its kind and one of the most widely
read in the world.
Bob has always cared deeply about the spiritual
needs and growth of others. Because of this, Bob
Gass Ministries offers (1) strength and guidance
for daily living through his devotionals, (2)
spiritual growth resources (3) opportunities for
involvement in international mission’s projects.
Bob's wife Debby was also born in Belfast, Northern
Ireland. They now make their home in Roswell,
Georgia.
