CARING FOR ORPHANED CHILDREN (Scrapbook)

Bob Gass Ministries first started working with Romania’s orphans in 1991. Since then we have made 46 trips to Romania, bringing teams of workers and trucks filled with humanitarian aid.

Two years ago, we built our first Village of Hope, a 7,500 square foot transitional home which allows us to bring the children out of the orphanages, rehabilitate and re-socialize them, then place them into foster families.

Right now, we are building our second Village of Hope, which will allow us to rescue twice as many children! Last year, we rescued 151 children and gave them a home. This year, our goal is to rescue 300 more. The second Village of Hope will enable us to do this.

Because of your support, The Village of Hope is:

		Rescuing children out of Romania’s worst orphanages
		Preparing each child to live in a real family
		Helping to find a qualified foster family for each child
		Training & equipping parents to handle the challenges and unique needs of these children
		Helping foster families with emotional and financial support

An estimated 50,000 children still live in Romania's orphanages, many existing in heart-breaking conditions.
